Kanye West dropped his new album, The Life of Pablo, in February 2016, and naturally he’s already declared it the best ever. Throw in a scandal with Taylor Swift and an explosive rant backstage on Saturday Night Live, and the evidence is stacking up against him: Yeezy is convinced he’s God. And we’ve got the quotes to prove it.

20. “Nobody can tell me where I can and can’t go. Man, I’m the No. 1 living and breathing rock star. I am Axl Rose; I am Jim Morrison; I am Jimi Hendrix.”

Kanye uttered this little gem in 2013. According to West, he was invited to an exclusive Paris Fashion Week show with the stipulation that it was the only one he attend. Naturally, this made the arrogant rapper pretty mad, so he ranted about his self-importance to W Magazine.

19. “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous.”

These charming words come from “Famous,” the fourth track on West’s 2016 album The Life of Pablo. Strangely, as well as seemingly alluding to Yeezy’s god complex, the misogynistic line seems seriously confused about how Taylor Swift got famous as well – that is, through her music, not his rude interruption of her MTV VMA acceptance speech in 2009.
