In recent years, Justin Bieber’s made a strong bid to be the bad boy of pop. After all, within less than seven months in 2013 and 2014, the reckless driving, the mop bucket peeing and the, er, throwing eggs at his neighbor’s house all chipped away at the teen idol’s squeaky clean-image. Perhaps it was all a bid to be a little bit more rock ‘n’ roll; perhaps they were just the actions of a brattish teenager. Regardless, speculation abounded as to whether the singer was cracking up under the pressures of fame.

Whatever troubles he may have had, though, Justin eventually seemed to sharpen up his act. By 2015, in fact, it appeared that he had realized the error of his ways – as evinced by his viral apology video and a hit song craftily named “Sorry,” both released that year.

But Bieber was also more than happy to poke fun at himself and his image problems during an appearance on hit TV show Lip Sync Battle in summer 2015. The pop star’s episode aired on July 16 and saw him battle it out against sports icon Deion Sanders.
